Just as Brady has started sleeping through the night (9 to 5 or 6 sometimes), Haylie has started getting up and trying to work her way into our bed. Almost every night I have to escort her back to her own bed where she'll sometimes even try to get us to sleep with her. I don't know if it's the messed up schedule that we're not keeping her on or my return to work or what. Whatever it is, it leaves me just as tired and dysfunctional as I was a couple of months ago with a newborn. I had a whole bunch of issues sleeping after Haylie was born. For the whole month of July 2006 I got between 4 to 6 hours of sleep a night and it had nothing to with Haylie. Maybe it had to do with hormones after having Haylie, but she was sleeping sound. I remember it just up and vanished the 1st of August. The enemy knows how to keep us on our toes. There is no rest for the wicked even if we're doing the best we can. A common prayer these days is for God to multiple what hours of rest I do get so as to get me through the day without being driven to the funny farm by the kids. Then I can usually fall back to sleep with the peace and confidence that God will do his best. Hey, if anyone can do it, He can!!
Three fourths of the Clan this morning at (or on) the breakfast table.
About Pictures
I've decided to go back and start marking which entries have pictures posted incase people want to browse. I'm marking the entries with pictures (P), with videos (V), and slideshows (S). Some of the slideshows won't work from this site after I change the title but you can still see the slideshow by clicking on "view all images".
